Nuclear rods are different lah.... you can make nukes outta the spent fuel rods... yes they can reclaim some energy back but they still end up getting a lotta waste to be stored but it's mainly to avoid the stockpiling of nukes

Lithium will be a much grander scale altogether.... it cost so much to reclaim back that bit of usable cheap materials.... if you introduce legislation such that companies have to fork out an arm and leg to dispose of these, then companies will just stop selling EV altogether cuz it's not profitable. So lithium recycling based on current methods definitely on the losing end.
they cant because no EV (green car) not allowed to sell ICE car. again legislation in play.

Then nobody will buy bcuz EV will become too expensive.... then majority EV companies will close down, leaving only the essential services such as logistics to use them and everything will become more expensive.

You really a fan of draconian pap laws hor? Betting we won't be able to realize the LTA goal of stopping new ICE registration also by what.. 2030? Unless during this time we can solve a lot of the EV teething issues.

EV will not be too expensive unless they also limit mining so EV maker llst buy recovered metal. else they will just continue to make new car battery with ore.

for our case i suspect we'll just export the car unless its totalled.
It all comes back to the consumer. Right now none of the companies specializing in li ion recycling are doing particularly well.... Umicore is prolly just big enough from other operations and precious metals recycling... they don't really post much on their li recycling operations yet

A teen, 17, made plans to stab non-Muslim men in Tampines after being self-radicalised online.

He intended to use a kitchen knife or scissors to stab people in the neck, & even practised stabbing motions.
