Sg purchase new subs, built frigates & LMV China no scare?
We order too few to be a threat. Also our subs are diesel electric not nuclear powered, so no range to project deep into enemy territory or hold long patrols.

Besides everyone knows our gov is humji one. Evacuation flights end up become shuttle flights outside the hot zone

Jjww so much so they still gonna stick to their 7 lines?

SEA all smaller states then bully gao gao. Amdk wants nuclear sub suddenly cry about others bullying them lulz

Anyway where are those little pink that keep saying 祖國 have biggest navy, others are shitting in their pants about it?

We all know in terms of arm race murica is wayyyyyyyyyyyy ahead. Now all they need is transfer some of their knowledge can 'destablise the region' wonder how CCP IBs think they are gonna surpass them 'very soon'

Unless the Oz subs carry nuclear tip cruise missiles, CCP is over reacting
I think is the intention. The nuk sub tech is most likely something for offensive. In fact aussie are voiding their contract with france to make the nuke sub

It is not stated, but if they want it for their own personal defense dont think they need AUKUS. They can just continue to get their sub from France. Tho waiting period could be another concern also.

The idea of this nuke sub tech is that it can go underwater almost perpetually. I think the base model should most likely is Virginia class sub.

UK supplying the tip is politically doable since Oz was previously colony...

Virginia class still going to be in service for another 30 years dun think so

When US and allies are always amassing a flotilla around the SCS, it's not a surprise China feels a need to build a big navy. Is anyone doing the same to Australia?
What are u thinking about on a Saturday morning? SCS is legitimately international waters. Everyone and anyone has the right to enter. It is CCP that is completely in the wrong to ignore the Hague-based Permanent Court of Arbitration’s decision against the 9-dash line crapsh*t claimed by CCP. Just too bad that most Asean countries are weak and corrupted, which is best to the liking of the super corrupted but super rich CCP. Else Asean together with Taiwan, could have formed an alliance to stop China from reclaiming those banks and shoals into islands then further militarising those illegally-claimed areas. US and it’s allies are just trying to ensure that SCS is still international waters for free sailing. Unfortunately the US and it’s allies will not be willing to tear down those illegally built-up areas by force for the corrupted governments of Asean, hence SCS remains as what it is right now. Don’t twist facts and try to smoke anyone here at edmw.

Why will aussie want to buy Los Angeles when the hull design is from 1972, mods not withstanding?

Wouldn't it make economical sense to buy a newer design like Virginia that have longevity and can out compete anything China comes up with?

We only bought the old Swedish subs cause we have no subs experience before so they were like trainers to us. But aussie already have a history of operating subs (in addition to being US sub pacom base since WW2)
