Natural disasters happen all the time, even though this does not mean emergency preparedness is not important. The rain that fell on Zhengzhou at maximum intensity was about 4 times what we have received on April 17 this year.

Zhengzhou is just unlucky to be affected by a confluence of very huge air masses interacting with each other at the same time.

Remember that we had experienced the rare event of Tropical Storm Vamei not too long ago, which was also a product of interaction between several forces in a coincidental manner as well.

rather than mocking at ccp handling of Zhengzhou..

I urge everyone to look at Sg handling of flood too.. our subway system is quite extensivily dug throughout the whole island..

smrt sub standard quality can handle that kind of tunnel flooding? Such massive down pour is not never happen before here.. last month there is one.. people using canoes are not unheard of and unseen of every once in 50yrs flooding so they say..powerful wind we also kenna before... remember chews chicken farm that year? I also first hand eye witness huge old trees torn off the ground myself once.

our deep sewage waste water discharge tunnels can withstand till how much and what emergency procedures do we have to handle sudden crisis of to what magnitude?

Those in glass houses. Just a quick google search "deadliest floods in human history" and one would see a lot of Chinese names. This latest flood is actually more 人祸 than 天灾. Simi once in a thousand years only used as scapegoat for the authorities to siam responsibility that's typical of the CCP. Their downplaying of deaths of every catastrophic event is appalling. From covid, building collapses, explosions, and natural disasters. :s13:
