question - during renovations, should i just change the air con unit and compressor or i should remove the all ducting and piping to start fresh? what are the other alternatives if the cost to tear down is too high?

If you are changing AC why do you not want to replace the copper pipings and redo insulation? I supposed water drainage pipe can remain.

Here you go for more accurate setup with every room FCU

hi bro,
I bought a system 3
9k , for common room 2,
12k , for masteroom,
18k for living room as per your recommendation.

The compressor that they combo it for is the the MXY 3h28VG.

As my renovation is now underway, the aircon is not installed yet so i'm still able to change the configuration if needed.

i'm just wondering if i should go for a bigger compressor?

Whats the downside of using this MXY 3h28VG?

Is the maximum i can have on is just 2 units?

Besides the BTU of each individual unit, does the temperature that i set also come into play in choosing the right compressor?

What happens if i use all 3 units at the same time but my temperature is at 23degrees each?

is electricity consumption highly dependend on the BTU of the unit being run or the compressor?

Eg

if i'm using a 9k + 12K + 18k system 3

Running the 12k unit overnight be it on the 28btu compressor or the 33btu proessor will be about the same running cost?

what is your room size?

Compressor bigger faster cooling and highest power consumption, while smaller compressor same cooling just slower a bit.

just remember on 1 rm power consumption is cheaper.
For 2 rm on same time or 3 rm the power consumption is about the same.
If you wanna upgrade from 28VA to 33VA then monthly bills is higher than 28VA.

Haha now all 3 the quality down liao not like last time. So hard for me to decide too... pana got the auto drying mode to allow the fan coil no need to service so frequently due to blockage, thats why reluctant to change to daikin lol. But daikin currently got 3 years warranty.
current model of pana still has this auto drying when turn off?
i asked many installers but they say not aware of such thing. maybe they don't install pana often or at all.

The current X Premium in SG was launched in Oct 2022. It is not about clearing stock, but also about how frequent you want the models to be replaced.

In fact, Gen 2 parts are still being used in medium range FCU in Malaysia. The good thing is there is a likelihood the support is still going to be strong for spare parts.

my old pana does this automatically
before i found out more, i always wondered why the lid doesn't close after i off 😂

when i asked a few of the highly recommended installers, they said never heard of such thing. and told me to get aircon with smart app to schedule dry mode instead 😂😂
