At first i find it cheap but realised they marked up their price of other items with shipping charges. So basically the vouchers are to offset the markedup price n delivery charges. It is a cunning marketing as it forces u to buy alsmost all ur electrical with them.

I prefer nat aire simple 50-350$ grocery voucher which i can buy grocery instead of being forced to buy more items with audio house.

Why can't all these companies just take away all these gimmicks and just give a good price.... Sure will hv ore businesses. I believe Wat we consumer want is the cheapest price with good workmanship. No need all the vouchers or oven or etc.....

Would like to add on, this is what I got from Gain City. This includes new copper pipe and water pipe laying(about 15 metres). Site survery done. We felt this is quite expensive but we are not sure. This is our first house and we are quite inexperienced. Hence we would like to check with the bros here. Thank you in advance for any of your invaluable advice.

1st quote:
2x9000 and 1 x 12000btu.
Mitsubishi Electric System 3 Inverter=$4689.00:eek:
Model: MXY3A28VA~2xMSYGE10VA~1xMSYGE13VA

2nd quote:
1 x 12000btu
1 x 18000btu
1 x 24000btu
With 2 compressors.
SGD Total: $5878.00

Think your sales tried to be funny without applying all the inhouse discount.

this is what i got from GC last month,
2x9000 and 1 x 24000btu.
Model: MXY3A28VA~2xMSYGE10VA~1xMSYGE26VA
with all the insulation + copper pile upgrades at less than 3.2k

Thanks but even excluding the voucher, the price seemed to be quite good or so I thought?

Ya i think it's a bit difficult to use the vouchers

They have two prices, the good prices are display sets with less warranty. I also got conned till i checked carefully. Their real price is actually not cheaper than qoo10. Plus they have shipping charges which q0100 merchants usually wauved for expensive items. Also qo100 have 100$ voucher which if used will make ur tv, fridge and other equipment xheaper than audio house promo. Do take a look.

That's kinda cunning. Me and my parents walked in the Allbest as noobs (having not checked this thread). Sharp sys 3 $2599 + $150 bracket, all parts and installation inclusive. Sales guy didn't push us to any brand, saying that all the Jippun brand reliability is see heng suay and to avoid Samsung cos made in PRC.

nice, can you try 25deg + low fan, and if possible 18deg + low fan.

18deg + low = 23.3 to 24.1 w/ 53-58% RH

Will add again when I on 25 on low

ok ok lah. an indian and a malaysian guy were my installers. indian guy (lead tech) showed us how and where he would do the trunking, drill the holes, confirm with us where to place the FCUs.

workmanship nothing special at all i guess. although they did bend copper pipe and insulation by hand. all trunking gaps and wall holes were covered with sealant. they also spotted that we lacked a 15amp power point and highlighted to us, luckily we know a handyman so not an issue.

Hi guys. Currently looking to get aircon for my new 4rm BTO flat. My ID help me get from her contact she usually used and she told us:-

Daikin inverter
4MKS80FSG
FTKS25DVM*3
FTKS50FVM*1
$4200

She said the company is called NationCool. Any experience before?

Also, if anyone have any recommendation do let me know. Currently in the midst of finding one that is reliable and good. Not too sure if I should drop by the home decor fair to look look...

You may want to check again if the 4MKS80FSG is 24k or 32k BTU.

4MKS80FSG
7.3 (3.3~10.5) kw ~ 25k btu (35k btu)

Can the compressor go over the rated btu? Or is there a limitation imposed on it? Wonder why some vendors spec the daikin sys 4 at 30k+ btu.

If daikin still got the free 3 yrs ext warranty, get it else get mhi. Mhi also made in thailand like daikin n cheaper

Mhi has ion for basic model while daikin need envi series for it. Anyone to verify?

Mhi giving 12k free upgrade becoz their 9k sold out in asean. Consider that many ppl are getting mhi over starmex. Also, imo starmex could be famous becoz of the ads n not becoz of its reliability. My starmex giving me problem now. Set to 22° also not cold. Think the compressor or fcu going to die soon.

Extended warranty is almost a must in current era of pcb build to spoilt after warranty period. However u must consider the reliability of the seller. If close shop like sls or California fitness, give u free warranty also no use

Daikin (only specialise on AC - u will not see it make TV, radio, fridge)
MHI just catch up recently ( on aircond dept cause by exposure of Mitsubishi Electric )
i will go for Daikin.. only my opinion...
Choose as u like...
but daikin envi still and early product... do not become white mice... go for older Daikin model - more reliable....:D
