your current position doesnt even allow u to make that choice.......... u become the technical team lead first then nxt time can say u want to go towards technical side lor

i am tech lead already, just that i only manage function and tech, no humans..
i ask for resource from my OCs

if i take then ish become half tech half management, bcos i dun think the CO want me to go full management but u know when they tell u 50 / 50 on moi resource, it will become 200%

why u care.......... let people manage themselves...... come up with a system to get timely reporting

if u really dun wan reject. the fact that u need to think hard means a part of you is open to accepting it. can always learn when you pick up the role.

nobody likes to be shouldering heavy responsibilities, but if you’re the best person for the job, then don’t run away from it.

Soft skill is essential in managing people one. Actually polar said I like no people support or something from my zw. This part I don understand, I am pretty influential in previous companies I works before. Can be even more influential than boss n senior manager there. Of course la this will earn their suspicion and unsettle them
