My opinion about Intel or AMD for notebook:

It really depends if gaming notebook with discrete graphic like RTX 3000 series graphics.
I would recommend pick Intel over AMD, however not all gaming notebooks are build equally
so opt to Google to see which one suits you.

For everyday use with no gaming or light gaming as well as longer battery.
AMD Ryzen laptop is recommend over Intel, AMD Ryzen new 6000 which some model
comes with beefier integrated AMD Radeon 660M (For Ryzen 5) or AMD Radeon 680M (For Ryzen 7)

AMD iGPU will be better than Intel UHD and you can play some games on it since
AMD iGPU competes with Nvidia MX graphic cards.
In market there are still AMD Ryzen 5000 or Ryzen 6000, which to pick?

It's up to your budget if you want cheap day to day PC, either will do fine.
Take note AMD CPU and Intel 12th CPU are different, AMD Ryzen CPU have native cores
with SMT. (AMD Hyper threading)

Intel 12th CPU wise according to reviews, Intel 12th have both Performance and Efficient.
There are some review which mention due to Intel 12th complicated CPU design
so some Intel laptop battery are bad.

When Windows doesn't schedule the correct CPU like P or E cores thus draining battery.
Which is why AMD Ryzen have longer battery since it uses native cores like 6/8 cores.
When in battery/power saving cores will throttle down to save power.

This is what I read but however if you are interested in a particular laptop whether Intel or AMD
do Google.
Take note I only post Lenovo reviews since in SG, Lenovo to me is a reliable brand than others.

They have lots of options from everyday laptop to gaming.
There are brands like Acer, ASUS and HP which also have Ryzen laptop.
I would not recommend ASUS mainly due to their aftersales service despite
they have many Ryzen laptop.

I just bought something...

Protip:

FRONTLIER is a general 25% off discount code for normal lenovo account..

STUDENT is the next best thing at 22% discount (maybe need to open an student/educator account)

If got sign up for lenovopro account, the lenovopro discount for certain model can be stacked with SHOPBACK20 or SHOPBACKAMD discount code to achieve additional discount

E.g

Frontlier Discount code:

Leonvopro account discount + Shopback20 code

Yup thats how it works all along :)
