Won't lah. Outdated advice. Just charge it to full then disconnect.

This is quite outdated battery preservation theory. I thought the modern understanding for Li batteries is to avoid full charge and no charge. Start charging when it is left around 20% and dun charge it till 100%. In fact, the battery setting has a default conservation mode that keeps it at 50 -60%.

So dun worry la.

Due to urgency, I ended up going challenger to buy the Legion 5 with Ryzen 5800 and 3060. Surprisingly the price 1999 didn't seem too bad, so I got it on the spot. Screen is good, keyboard is nice to type on.

My only problem is the bloody power brick. Why is it as heavy as the laptop and as big as an A5 paper? :s13:
welcome to the Lenovo Legion AMD Family!!!

the power brick.... ikr!!! :ROFLMAO: can use it for home gym or throw people :p

Just nice gym closed until further notice, time to deadlift the adapter until I become swole.

Don't think there're any comparisons right now since both models are very new. Your best bet is to check youtube for reviews of each laptop and fast forward to the thermals section.

30% off doesn't come often, you might need to wait a very long time. One of the bros found a 10% coupon code a few pages back. Vulpix managed to get a Legion 5 5800H RTX3060 from Challenger at S$1,999.

I went to see the challenger set tbh, is very attractive if 120ghz and 250 brightness of screen is ok

Is the $150 extra worth for qhd screen assuming all other specs is same
Thermal on 5 Pro also better, has bigger heatpipes. If you just games or watch movie then 5 is good enough, if works then buy 5 Pro. Ppl willing to pay +200 just for the screen itself.

If you already have a monitor then buy Legion 5 lor, it’s only 10% different, 2.2k vs 2k4. Or can save another 200 buck buying challengers set with 250 nits screen. (just from 250 nits 120Hz --> 300 nits 165Hz already cost you 200$, see how expensive screen option is?)

But trust me, RAM & SSD can be upgraded but screen cannot (technically yes but are you confident?). All reddit guys & youtuber are f**king jealous of us, they’re turning their back on HP Omen just because of the screen of 5 Pro. It’s gorgeous. Better treat your eyes well lah, just another 200$ :p

I personally owned last year Legion 5 with 300 nits 144Hz, this 5 Pro's screen is another league.
