should I buy a folding or MTB for exercise purposes? An exercise bicycle.
Usage :Bike to Bedok Reservoir and probably just bike there to exercise for 30 to 60mins. Prefer used at carousell. No need expensive/branded , value for money though

Anyone know for brompton, 3Sixty, Sava, Pike, dahon.

How long does those parts need to get their parts replaced due to wear and tear or cycling after XXXX miles, etc....

Thanks i dont really know about folding bikes, but seems like this brand has the front bag mount style like brompton.

Sorry just checked with my friend, he's riding a Master V. Seems like the same identical bike, just with some minor differences like v brakes vs discs. Should be a decent bike nonetheless.

If wanna exercise, just get an aleoca. The amount of energy u need to put in to cycle those bikes, confirm will be good exercise for u

you mean because it's heavy or is it just average?
:(

Because those bikes are steel frame so cheaper but heavier by alot..

Better bikes are aluminium or even better carbon so it goes lighter :)

what model you use?

usage is normal like in city road, no off road etc....

just want to know the parts replacement cost vs better to throw after major parts spoil then get a new one or get brompton then replace parts when it spoil.

me is practical. so maintenance play a big parts as it cost money too

If don’t want to waste money

Then get a simple bike to start

After actually using the bike for some time

Think about what you like and need

Then go and upgrade

Brompton sell like hot cakes for years now

So if really want to buy one, there will always be new stock and model

No need to rush

Cycling is fun but in SG weather - can’t do it for long

Either too hot and humid

Or too wet due to rain

Seldom cycle for long as in months or years

Unless you really take it seriously

thanks for the advice... yeah as mentioned it's more like exercise. I will flip flop between running and cycling.

I'm not eye-ing for brompton since no budget. I want something simple, just works. any specs, brand to look for? Since I'd be doing it in parks so I think the foldie would be good enough?

can see Cirus Master or Cirus Velocity (with Litepro components)
both are 20", i think 9 speed not too sure,
< $700
