I find that only MS office (Excel) running on windows is the most compatible

even MS office for MacOS got compatibility issues

I am using MacBook but still got to use virtual machine to run windows to run Excel software for maximum compatibility

Some Office apps do not work on MacBook

Office apps work best with Windows

Throw in a 27 inch monitor with Windows laptop and Office apps work beautifully.

Last time tried for work-related stuff for data entry, required stuff like check variables within a certain range, calculate variables, dropdown box and vlookup. Some of these functions and formulas not available on iPad if you making your sheet from scratch.

However, if you do up the excel file on windows with all the formulas etc then transfer to iPad, it works fine. Of course need to double check all your fields if its correct la. Also you might need to buy windows 365 or excel or else they won't let you edit. Don't think using iPad OS got any fake excel to sideload
