yes i did. quite fast. within 2-3 days i can see my holdings in ibkr already including cash balances.

steps :
1. login to ibkr portal
2. go to Transfer & Pay --> Transfer positions
3. click Incoming - Transfer assets to your ibkr account
4. choose United states
5. select ACATS
6. choose broker (TD A )
7. Enter TDA Account number and other details.
8. Choose All Assets. (Easier else need to upload excel with asset details )

what i was surprised is they will also transfer all cash balances in TDA

was the transfer fees of $75 ( according to TD's website) waived?

Just initiated full transfer from TD to IBKR. A bit sad though, the charts in TOS are the best.

will monitor then, they should waive since they are the one forcing all non AI to transfer out.

IBKR has a partnership with tradingview, but you will need to be using the beta version of TWS and use their advance charts( which is actually TV) or you can login via browser to access TV, but you'll still need to pay for live data feed for futures, options in IBKR, USD 15 a month or if you manage to have commission above 30USD, then it's 5 USD.

even in TV without IBKR you'll still need to subscribe futures/options data feed as well on top of the software subscription, IIRC, becuase it's the exchanges which charges the fees.

so we really had it good with TOS as all live data are free.

If u log in TV with ibkr and u have ibkr market data, then TV will have live market data.

Can I check did u mean if u login via browser to access TV, you can have unlimited indicators and layout etc?

How did u manage to do it? I'm still restricted with 3 indicators only

there's 2 login here via browser:

1: TV
2: Ibkr

login to ibkr just give you the live data (so if you are on Ibkr lite I believe you won't have futures data(?))
but the layout, indicators is still dependent on the base plan you have with TV, free, essential etc.

if you use beta tws and their advance charts, you can have as many indicators as want as long as it's within the
standard list which TWS offers, you can't have customise scripts or community scripts like in the browser.

Yup u r right. I thought u meant that on the browser, if u login using ibkr, u can have unlimited indicators for TV which is the case if u use advanced charts with TWS.

Everything u described is correct. The TV in ibkr is quite buggy tho. Can only work in one window

actually if you create a new layout, you can have multiple adv charts in one window, but yes, it's buggy eg, it wouldn't save your charts layout indicator correctly, so need a little bit of time to configure each time you use tws

Add a New Layout

To create a new layout, click the Add Tab "+" icon along the bottom of the Mosaic. Elect to use the Layout Library by clicking Open the Layout Library on the right side of the Add Tab dialog box.
