IfI got my iPad Pro, Pencil and Magic keyboard at different times, will buying AppleCare + cover all the devices from 2 years when they were purchased (following respective purchase dates) or follow the iPad Pro purchase date?

Clarify: AppleCare + purchase for my iPad only as I’m still eligible for another month

Extends 2 yrs from date of purchase of ac+. So to maximize your coverage; get ac+ nearing the 60th day

Enjoy two years of peace of mind when you buy AppleCare+ for iPad.
Every iPad comes with one year of hardware repair coverage through its one-year limited warranty and up to 90 days of complimentary technical support. AppleCare+ extends your iPad, Apple Pencil and Apple-branded iPad keyboard coverage to two years from your AppleCare+ purchase date and adds up to two incidents of accidental damage protection every 12 months. Each incident is subject to a service fee of S$68 for iPad and S$42 for Apple Pencil or Apple-branded iPad keyboard.1 In addition, you’ll get 24/7 priority access to Apple experts by chat or phone through *getsupport.apple.com.

Only question is if keyboard and pencil are bought at different times, how would the coverage work?

It either follows your iPad applecare+ expiry or it's own 1 year limited warranty. Whichever ends later.

Update - was at the jewel Apple store today and asked

Basically both the Pencil and Magic keyboard extended warranty dates will be tied together with the iPad Pro, regardless of when they were purchased

Your AppleCare+ end date will be exactly 24 months after your iPad purchase date, regardless of how early/late you purchase your Apple Pencil, Magic Keyboard or even the AppleCare+ plan. (AppleCare+ plan available for purchase for 60 days from the iPad Purchase date)

I’m still on the fence - got 24 more days to decide if I wanna buy AppleCare+ To cover my iPad Pro 12.9, Pencil and Magic Keyboard seeing as how I tend to upgrade every 1.5 years or so to the newer model

This is what the sales told me when I asked about the AppleCare+ I bought with my ipad. AppleCare+ will start from the date of purchase of the ipad.

Can always get back the remaining AC+ fees when you sell your product.

Is that confirmed possible for Singapore? If buy AppleCare will be able to get the pro-rated balance back when I sell my iPad Pro? In that case, maybe worth getting sure it covers the very expensive Magic keyboard.

Answered my own question by going through the fine print:

8. Cancellation
8.1 Single-Pay Plans
You may cancel this Plan at any time for any reason. If you decide to cancel this Plan, you may call Apple, or you may send written notice with your Plan Agreement Number to the location appropriate to your country of purchase listed in Section 11. You must send a copy of the Plan’s original proof of purchase with your notice.
Unless local law provides otherwise, cancellation refunds will be provided as follows:
(a) If you cancel within thirty (30) days of your Plan’s purchase, or receipt of this Plan, whichever occurs later, you will receive a full refund less the value of any benefits provided to you under the Plan.
(b) If you cancel more than thirty (30) days after your receipt of this Plan, you will receive a pro-rata refund of the original purchase price. The pro-rata refund is based on the percentage of unexpired Plan Term from the Plan’s date of purchase using the calculation set forth in Section 11 for your country of purchase.

You're wrong.

AppleCare+ extends your coverage to two years from your AppleCare+ purchase date.

He’s right.

I just got my iPad Pro with ac+ today at jewel.

Both the staff at the store and the product specialist had clarified even if I buy the ac+ later the date is still tagged to the iPad purchase date.

The good thing was I got the ac+ Under education pricing at $159 and it will cover pencil + keyboard too

You're wrong.

AppleCare+ extends your coverage to two years from your AppleCare+ purchase date.
