Different pricing for Skyliner.
Skyliner is always above 2000 yen. =)

The
liner_ttl10.gif
&
liner_sub_ttl05.gif
have routes that look quite different.

You know how to translate?

Hmm.. okay.
If counter scare can't communicate well leh.
Will try see machine easy to buy anot first, if not will go counter and ask for help :)

The machine is quite complex for first timer, lots of words and boxes for you to select, pressed wrongly and get the wrong tix more worst. Best is the tix office, the staff may not be well versed in English but still better than via a cold UI driven machine.

Planning a trip for feb 2016 to Nagoya and back from tokyo.

Any must go place at Nagoya or places near Nagoya? I'm mainly into scenery!

Already planned to put in Takayama, Gero, Okuhida in this trip.

Will be getting the JR pass

Shinjuku-nishiguchi is a metro station and there no train to Otsuki. u need to go to JR Shinjuku station, which is just a short walk away

the time on the board is the departure time
most train stays for 2minute only
so if it's 1300, it'll reach at 1258 and leave exactly at 1300

usually it's displayed like this

train name - time - destination (last stop) - track/platform number
