Heading back to Korea tml. May I check is it cheaper to get SIM card outside of airports?
As I have a morning arrival and taking the ktx to Busan, do I need to buy the tickets now or is it safer to buy it tml since I won’t know how long does immigration takes?
TIA

I have a couple of questions since I will be heading to Seoul next year:
1) With tmoney supported on Apple pay is there any reason to get a physical transport card now?
2) Are any international cards like Wise or Youtrip supported? If not what about places that don't take cash?
3) I see most mobile providers have data roaming in S.Korea is there any reason to get a local SIM card?

most places except night markets accept credit cards, utrip etc. for transport, just buy a wow pass or climate pass. no need t-money. have some cash to spend on night markets and day markets stalls.

Im still debating if I should get WOWPASS if I don't need the SIM card. I wonder if the discounts are worth it.

Sorry, it's t-money card the equivalent of our ezlink card, not wow pass. Just get T-money or climate card.
WOWPASS comes with tmoney plus other perks like discounts and the debit card. Tmoney already can use on Apple Pay so don't need physical card.

Any recommendations for a decent hotel in Seoul?

I used to stay at Days Hotel but it's now so expensive

Last visited Korea in Jan 2020

Tried looking through trip.com and the reviews for a lot of them are really bad these days

Can consider homestays? Their reviews seem better than those for hotels

Actually i will just get a WOWPASS since there is no way to topup Tmoney as a foreigner.

Possible to top up the Tmoney card using apps?

Or still have to top up manually at those machines or convenience stores?

Ibis Ambassador Seoul Myeongdong.

Awesome location and the rooms are pretty nice.
