hey, so u got qq working?
Yup I got it working, paid using existing credits in my Alipay account.
Is there a way to pay directly with QQ or Wechat wallet instead of buying from Taobao? Cuz the promotion in the QQ website is much better!

mmh.. issit? i always thought the ones on taobao are not bad.. i think due to xchange rate.. lol
anyway, directly form the qq music website, if u choose to 开通 .. u can pay via qq wallet or wechat.. but i think only if ur wechat wallet is linked to china bank account. qq wallet can also topup from taobao.. i used to do that.. but in the end, i feel direct payment on taobao convenient lol.

anyway, great that alls well now.

To be fair though those VPNs I see recommended a lot here:

bestvpn.co

And they're in general good VPNs. Nord, Express, PIA are all on my list personally.

PIA can hit 3-400Mbps when running on desktop or mobile apps client.. if running on my ac-rt86u router can hit around 200+Mbps.. on wireless ac 5ghz band.

hello! might you reporting your conclusion after your test?

I used to find PIA too laggy or slow though. that was in 2015!

np. Not so soon however, waiting for Express to refund me first.

$49 is like chopped carrot head. :D

You are paying more for higher speed that you probably won't utilise most of the time.

Your plan is probably the older plan. Maybe the new expensive plans come with free VPN?

not ideal either

250Mbps down / 200Mbps up

better than Express however.

what speeds would you be expecting to utilise and for what kind of application? because tbh 250mbps/200mpbs for day to day usage is more than enough to cover most of day to day usage.
