Anybody using vpn.ac? Seems like.got no black friday promo code....

It used to be recommended for China but now seems to be bad. The author of the following page no longer recommends it.

======
Although VPN.ac still works fairly well in China, the performance has seriously deteriorated recently. I used to get much faster speeds than I do these days. I think their servers have become overloaded.

Thanks for the confirmation that SingTel.TV Go can support subscribed SingTel TV channels including EPL..

As for using Singtel TV Go with VPN, you should really contact technical support for this issue.

Location access settings depends on the phone. On my Huawei P20,it is under Settings -- Security and Privacy -- Location Access.

For my iPhone 6S, it is under Settings -- Privacy -- Location Services.

Google does not find good entry to access SingTel TV Go abroad, only one article says ExpressVPN should work. But it seems to me that article lacks substance.

Thanks a lot for your help. I have contacted them but no reply yet so far.

Vpndada recommended China VPN
https://www.vpndada.com/best-vpns-for-china-cn/
https://www.vpndada.com/best-vpns-for-china/

ExpressVPN
NordVPN
purevpn
vyprVPN

The above list has a different entry from the following which is purevpn.

Now PureVPN has an offer for US$0.99 per month for 12months, or US$11.88 for the first year.

It has an interesting feature to claim to have China servers for users to go into China, for example, to access geo-locked contents from Tencent Video or iQiyi. Not so sure how well it works.

Take note price of Transocks VIP and SpeedIn VIP have gone up and not that cheap. So if the above claim works, it can be a good value. Of course you can still use free Transocks VPN mobile version on your iOS/Android phone or Android TV boxes, with ads.

The author recommended the following VPN for China.

1) ExpressVPN (usually works, speed so so)

2) Surfshark (with Shadowsocks or OpenVPN configurations if not working)

3) NordVPN, special OpenVPN configuration

4) 12VPN, with Shadowsocks

In addition to Shadowsocks, 12VPN also offers all the latest protocols that work good in China such as Outline, WireGuard, v2Ray, and Openconnect.

5) vpn.ac
**** works but server getting overloaded

6) vyprVPN
**** works but not that recommended

Anyway I just bought purevpn one year subscription for US$11.88.

I will test the function to go into China over the weekend. And test its function to bypass China GFW during my year end short trip to China.
