To put things into perspective:
Budget 2022
2% rise in GST - increase revenue by $3.5B

Beneficiaries:
1.Household support packages $560m
2. Enhanced Assurance Package (cover 5-10 years GST) add $640m to $6B
3. The enhanced permanent GST Voucher (GSTV) scheme (not sure cover how many years) $1.2B
4. SPH Mediatrust up to $900m (over 5 years)
5. OneAviation Resilience Package $500m not sure over how many years)

Not sure who benefit the most.

As long as GST increases did not hurt the poor, let's continue voting them in!
