I got BBB, GP U, PW B and Econs C in my normal A levels. I'm thinking of studying medicine overseas in UK, Australia or New Zealand. Should I take the British A levels? I heard that it is easier than the Singapore-Cambridge A levels, would I be able to get the AAA that I need for the course I want?

Coming from a perspective of a person that did UK A Levels, the test itself was really easy if your aim is to get good scores like A. Even thou I am not familiar with the exact materials of Sing A Levels, I know for one thing that the UK A Levels is much much easier. You can see in the Cambridge website in the results statistics section, that for example 50% of the participants taking Biology got a B.

Have to check if you are taking the International A levels or the UK A levels. The UK A levels has changed to a structure similar to Spore's GCE A levels & the so called Staged Assessment is no longer allowed.

The International A levels still allow a Staged Assessment i.e if you got a good score in the AS (like our H1) paper, the grade can be combined to the second full A level paper (second part, usually a Paper 2, to make it full A level like H2) . 2 chances within 13 months are allowed to score in an H1 subject (2 exams in 1 year) and then take the second stage that adds to become an H2. You can try up to 2 AS (or equiv H1) results & take the best result & combine with the second Paper to get the best score for H2.

For local uni I mean
Better to check w Uni admin for both UK and Int. But why do UK when International may be much easier to chalk up a combined A/B grade? Int is used by most international schools besides IB.
