After giving us **** for May and August BTO, HDB finally bulk up. haha

But the whampoa one looks like its gg to be super competitive.

the whampoa bto looks good other than being located in the middle of kws hospital and sikh temple. hdb website says 850units available but map says 440units available. from the size of land allocated looks more like 440units though. :s22:

Jurong West will be damn popular. Just behind RVHS some more.

Needless to say, Whampoa is a sure oversubscribed by easily 5-6x.

theres another 410 units thats part of the 850 count near kallang mrt, beside high way.

thats why its 850 in total.

whampoa/kallang ll attract anyone who want to punt and maybe some unserious buyers. kallang one is right beside expressway though, so that probably means everyone who get good queue number ll go for whampoa, and the leftovers got to take kallang.

JW will attract EVERYONE who stays in the west and want to continue staying there. its freaking good.

Hi All,

Anybody saw the BTO Feb 2019 site?

Jurong West and Whampoa site is really good.

I'm interested in Jurong west since it's next to jurong point.
Anybody have the same idea?

actually the SK one isn't that bad either. considering it's right beside LRT. so basically this round we have two good ones and one ok one. as compared to May 18 BTO which was ****.

Jurong west plot basically is
near mrt, near schools (primary and sec) near police, near shopping malls.

Confirm very very hot for all west peeps. Just as much as the plot in BP back in feb 2018. Are we seeing a trend here? haha

JW should be ok right? isnt it non mature estate.

and becoz its non mature, it should be even more heavily oversub with second timers all chionging to ballot

eh wait. it is considered non-mature estate. i just double checked on hdb website. meaning the second timer allocation is gg to be non-mature estate allocation, which means there ll be super alot of second timer who applies for that rather than whampoa.

ya JW is non-matured.
Which i always think quite funny, there so many new malls!

And last time they want to make Jurong 2nd CBD. now i think no more, the only thing is near Jurong point.

Except the one near pioneer mrt. those can get boonlay side good. cannot then is pioneer de lor

I stay near the future Jurong West plot (behind RVHS) and am thinking of applying for this particular BTO. The old secondary school and fire station that used to occupy the plot have been torn down, and the land has already been cleared and fenced up. However, I have a few concerns.

Pros:

- It's convenient with accessible amenities - within walking distance to Jurong Point Mall and Boon Lay MRT
- Right behind River Valley High School

Cons:

- Right next to the MRT track - not sure if noise will be an issue
- Noise pollution from military jets flying back to Tengah Air Base
- Occasional air pollution from the Cadbury factory nearby

I would appreciate if someone could weigh in on this. :)
