To commemorate the obedience of Prophet Abraham.

Please think about my question. Why would God suddenly demand a blood sacrifice to forgive sins?

Cui Bible knowledge spotted!:s22: My common sense ish telling moi to remind Ah Zed that God ish instituted the blood sacrifice jin way back in the Garden of Eden.

Gen 3:21-24
The LORD God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and clothed them. And the LORD God said, “The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.” So the LORD God banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken. After he drove the man out, he placed on the east sidee of the Garden of Eden cherubim and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life.

My common sense ish telling moi that the Bible ish teach that God ish provided the first animal sacrifice and killed it in the Garden of Eden and used the skin of the slain animal as clothing for Adam and Eve to cover the shame of nakedness to be a covering for sin. This ish also to foreshadow what God ish would do about 4000 years later when the Lamb of God ish would be slain to take away the sin of the world and believers ish clothed with the righteousness of Christ.

Isaiah 61:10
I will greatly rejoice in the Lord; my soul shall exult in my God, for he has clothed me with the garments of salvation; he has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself like a priest with a beautiful headdress, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

Evidently, you don't know that they were doing it long before Prophet Muhammad (صلي الله عليه وسلم) came along.

I told you already that you don't have much knowledge about Islam or the Quran or even the Bible and Jewish history. You should go and read more instead of making silly comments.

I never say I don't like it. I'm just reminding you to calm down and cool down bro.

I am calm. I gave AutumnLeaf friendly advice. She should not be here in this thread. Many Christians in EDMW don't ever want to come into this thread.

I think many Christians, Muslims and others are reading this thread silently. I think some will speak out when they feel there is a need. One thing for sure when it comes to matters about religion and God, it is always an unending story. Many would defend their own Faith against any attacks on their religion and God like as now within this thread.

Tomorrow is Christmas Eve. Take a break from all these. Think or prepare questions or answers if you want too and then come back in if you like to continue your argument or debate. Call it a temporary peaceful truce for a time being. After all, all of us here are humans and equal. Try wish and pray for happiness, kindness, harmony and peace for everyone on earth. I'm sure God would like to see that happens and I'm sure God would be very PLEASE when Heaven on Earth materialized.

Matt 1:21
She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.

Luke 2:11
Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.

My common sense ish telling moi to share the good news that Christmas time ish to remind us that 2000 years ago God ish entered human history in a very unique way, God became flesh and dwelt among man. Mission: Redemption of Mankind. In the OT it ish very clear that there ish only one God and one Saviour and one Lord and in the NT the angel ish bring the message that Jesus ish the Messiah, the Saviour, the Lord. Simple logic ish means what? It ish means that if the exclusive and descriptive titles given by God in the OT to Himself ish also given to Jesus, then it ish means that Jesus ish God!

Sorry man, will have to check you on this one. Christmas has nothing to do with Christ. Nothing but a catholic invention masquerading Saturnalia / Sun Worship as a "christian" festival. No need to give Muslims any ammunition for this one.

Christ was:
Conceived around Hanukah
Born around Tabernacles (sometime September)

Died on Passover
Laid in the Tomb during Unleavened Bread
Resurrected on First Fruits
Empowered the Apostles during Feast of Weeks / Shavuot / Pentecost

When He returns, He will fulfill
Feast Of Trumpets - Return
Day of Atonement - Judgement
Tabernacles - Wedding Feast

My common sense ish telling moi that irregardless of how one ish feel about Christmas, to celebrate or notch, gotch pagan origins or notch, the choice to celebrate this ish a matter of Christian liberty. Good read here :D

Greetings from my family to you wherever you are...

Merry Christmas to all Christians.

Matt 2:1-2,11
After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi from the east came to Jerusalem and asked, “Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him.”...On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh.

My common sense ish telling moi to tell bro Joe that wise men sought and worshipped Jesus and wise men still do. Note that they ish saw both Mary with Jesus but they ish bowed down and worshipped only Jesus. Simple logic ish means that this baby ish notch simple who ish born King of the Jews and died King of the Jews.:o
