Cucurella signs, Levi leaves ..

Brighton is unwilling to sign the Cucurella deal in full until the Colwill deal is closed. Fair enough , but also a bit on the paranoid side. (And also a great example of why trade-in deals are so rare in football, with so many moving parts and variables and ways things can go wrong.)

Levi Colwill’s transfer would reportedly be worth around £20-25 million, with a buyback clause also twice as high.

With that, Chelsea signs Cucurella for £52 million, but sold Levi to them for £25 million. There goes another promising Teenager!

Chilwell started the match against Udinese the following day. He was replaced in the 67th minute by Kenedy. The match was won by Chelsea 2-0, just 24 hours after the club won 3-1 against the same opponent.

i wonder if cucurella will be playing lwb too, his speed is closer to chilwell but he has better dribbling.

Also heard somewhere that Rahman & Bakayoko will leave next season as Chelsea won't renew their contracts.
