20 Sep is also very late. This should be timed with the movie release as many who are newly interested in the series will search for the TV anime!
Netflix SG used to have a partial collection of the Chiikawa TV anime. They never updated it with the newer episodes. Then, sometime back, it was removed

Even though we do not know if the episodes will be updated up to the latest ones, having some is better than nothing.
As moi has said, this release date is in fact quite "late" as the movie has been playing here for 3+ weeks already, with local fans being unable to watch the TV series as it is not found on any major streaming platform (as far as moi can tell).

I don't find this article good. The "looks as if it was made for five-year-olds" part in the first line sounds condescending. Second line is a major spoiler and will ruin the movie for anyone who doesn't know the plot beforehand.
