It’s the “Niu” (means Ox in Mandarin) year and it’s time to celebrate Chinese New Year or Lunar new year in Malaysia. Red lanterns, orange or kumquat trees, vibrant flowers, lion dances, various kind of Chinese script stickers as well as banners are all around the city.

The movement control order (MCO 2.0) may have disrupted on Chinese New Year but that has not stopped Klang Valley shopping malls from putting up decorations to brighten the mood. With travel restrictions in place and many can’t return to their hometowns for the family reunion, you can still relish the amazing Chinese New Year decors in town until we’re allowed to go out.

So, here are some of the main shopping malls in KL valley with their extraordinary Chinese New Year décor and their theme for 2021 with some eye-catching videos which tell the story than words.

Decoration is nice but hear say no much local customer and sinkie patrons and is very quiet for this CNY
