So far to me vivifi seem to have the best real world coverage and reception. It is not the fastest though.
Starhub/giga seem to be faster in terms of speed But the coverage not as good.

for SIMBA, it is sometimes patchy and can lose signal on and off once i a blue moon and then the speed is slower than vivifi and giga
Vivifi against gomo, which is better for coverage n reception?
Understand both got 5G

Do you bring your ipad out often ? can always tether using your phone ...
Yes! I know I can do that but I want to get a Data-Only Plan for my iPad without dependency via hotspot from my phone.

Any suggestion for Data-Only plan? Budget is max at $10 per month.

Nowadays I think normal plan also almost same price as data only plan.

Can consider heya $10 (but need manual top up but can do it via online retailers) or Zero1 Jumbo $12.15 (have auto top up).

In that case. Heya $10 by SingTel is the best choice!

BTW, I thought that for iPad Wifi model (or any Wi-fi's tablet). I must use Data-Only sim and cannot use the normal SIM which is used for mobile phone?

You can use any normal SIM card in a 4G enabled iPad, data only just means the telco restricts you from receiving and making calls on their end.

Wifi model = only Wifi. No SIM slot

You need the Wifi+Cellular model to have a SIM slot for your data SIM (or to support eSIM).

If you actually do have a Wifi+Cellular model, you can use any plan with it. Personally, I would go with SIMBA $10, which has the most data at that price point & with 1GB free roaming. But that also depends on whether the coverage works for you. Otherwise, Heya $10 plan is also a solid choice, if the de-prioritisation will not bother you.

I kind of feel Singtel 4G coverage got a bit worse than previously, not so sure it is because of the phone used (Poco X4 GT, MTK8100, 8G, 256GB) or because of Singtel.

Previous phone did not seem to have such issue (Realme X50 5G, Snapdragon 765G, 8G, 128GB).

5G was disabled after my 3-month free 5G access expired. And interestingly I only felt a bit of 4G coverage issues after the expire date of 5G access. The main issue is usually in the lift or on the bus.

I will monitor the situation.

To be frank. 4G coverage is still the best and therefore it gives smooth and realible cell and data connections wherever you are.

5G coverage , long way to go before it reaches the super coverage of the 4G.

I stick to 4G. No more 5G for the near future to prevent my phone keep searching for 5G signal and therefore causes intermittent signal lost it or stuck connectios.
