I like how you find peace

I don't use WhatsApp.

I am sending SMS to my bosses and colleagues for work related updates. :s13:

Why SMS? Because I don't want to put too much attention with WA.

I just send a couple of SMS and that's it.

If the other parties have to pay for SMS, then good for me. I get more peace.

Anything urgent, we can talk on the phone.

U are like the typical middle age uncle finds superiority in ignorance :s13:

I not going to comment about your occupation that finds communicating with SMS productive.

Guess you never had to use communication apps like Microsoft teams or slack which is widely used in businesses.

I guess you were too young to know but not too long ago everyone sent SMS and I even had a student plan with unlimited SMS.

Now telco greedy and decide to drop unlimited SMS but it backfired thanks to the quick adoption of apps like whatsapp etc.

of cos i know last time everyone send SMS... last time police wear shorts too... but we are obviously NOT talking about the past now.... :s22::s22:

Chatted with circles.life.
Told told me that the $0 plan will be moved to the $5 plan soon. No dates yet.
Will cancel my plan if they do that. Luckily already slowly move to zero1, so cancel my CL plan also no problem

If 3G/4G data is down or overloaded for whatever freak reason, only sms might still work.

Their FAQ indicated forever.

"We’re glad you asked! The $0 /mo Flexi Plan is for $0 /mo. FOREVER!"

But you should know nothing lasts forever.

When the change comes, the FAQ has to change.

I am not lamenting the lack of unlimited SMS. My issue is the telcos now treats SMS as a cash cow.

If you think SMS is dead globally, you should see the USA. With unlimited SMS, they can't be bothered to use any other messaging apps.

Are you sure? Where is your source? I thought someone said it will be migrated to the $5 plan in time to come.

Is that an official statement or rumor?

If circles say nothing. We can safely assume the $0 Flexi plan won't be going away yet.
