If not mistaken, Hamas used gliders to enter the area, and the party goers thought the gilders were part of a stunt.

There were tweets that the Hamas terrorists got training in Iran and Malaysia to use these gliders. Malaysia I wont be surprised. In 2018, Israel assassinated a Hamas rocket specialist in Kuala Lumpur. The Malaysians claimed he was just a scholar.
