I dont want a government formed by election rejects who then got parachuted in in another grc/smc
Political party =/= government. That’s why there’s a separation of power. What is ah ong even talking about??
In case anyone has any doubt that this was legit …That's really funny! He whines so much about PAP but goes to them to express his worries about losing his deposit
What did he expect PAP to do? Console him? Campaign less so that Gilbert has a better chance of getting back the deposit?
He ownself tell reporters that he go and tell What-Do-You-Think that he scareded will lose deposit 1 hor.Later, at about 9.30am, the teams bumped into each other again at Punggol Plaza and Mr Teo and Peoples Voice candidate Gilbert Goh spoke briefly at a food court.
Mr Goh told reporters that during their conversation, he relayed his concerns to Mr Teo that Peoples Voice would lose their election deposit for the Pasir-Ris Punggol GRC contest.
How abotu VDS during covid?
NCM. Good to see him lose then.NCM? Confirm he will join election. He’s not inside the CEC of pap for nothing.
Boomer generation + Public service is largest employer in SGTill date, I am not sure why Singaporeans prefer to give PAP a supermajority in Parliament.
Ground work like ensuring that their 15k allowance is solidly grounded in the right banks.I thought they say the poh li San very involved in ground work?
Agreed on this aspect. As mentioned before in my opinion the main issue is not the political party in charge but the political system. Personally feel that it is extremely unhealthy for a political party to have an overwhelmingly majority. It will take at least 15-20 years for WP to break PAP's supermajority in Parliament.
Till date, I am not sure why Singaporeans prefer to give PAP a supermajority in Parliament.
Singapore is an only country with ruling party constantly holding supermajority in Parliament since independent.
I agreed with Pritam said earlier this week. In the past, the founding PAP members want an Opposition presence in Parliament to check on the incumbent. But recently, PAP gave me a vibe that they want to win all seats if possible and do not care if there are no elected Opposition MPs in Parliament.
