Look at our IPPT can liao. From 5 station to 3 stations. Mostly can’t do pull up but many can go geylang so they decided to make do with push up.

Still not enough?

Look at the tray returning. No cleaners to clean? Or tourist seeing old folks clearing tray at unesco heritage is xia suay? Never mind. Let’s ask the people return themselves by implementing a new law!

Now Vaping? They will legalize it a matter of time with some restriction, like PMD like that.

I have never called the government out before but i really think they did a super bad job with vaping this time.

It is so blardy rampant everywhere and they can't even enforce the law. They rather spend resources in putting cisco to catch errant ebike riders and bicycle riders but not vaping.

Everyday when i'm out i can see some youngster vaping away at the bustop or everywhere. So rampant.

They could either just make it legal, authorize a big company to manufacture them with clear indication of all ingredients use or just ban them 9696.

It makes no sense when the government tried so hard to make people quit smoking... by raising money, raising the age to buy etc take years to implement all these laws while youngsters now just buy vape cheaply and started smoking even younger.

The irony.
Vape -> not sure of harmful chemicals and effects -> Ban
Smoking -> harmful effects known for many decades -> pls carry on. 🙄
We have brewery in SG so drinking so not so controlled over here.
Same, we have a cigarette factory here so smoking is also not so controlled.
Both are paying taxes to SG.

they were saying everything about vape being as harmful as smoking, if not worse in specific cases.
when being asked about the studies done on vape, they were selective in choosing only the studies that portraying vape as being more harmful, conveniently ignoring the countless ones that suggest vaping can actually make ppl quit smoking tobacco altogether. They themselves never did any testing, they only pick and choose the results that fit their narrative (as usual)

it is evident that they do not want to legalise it at all and are doing everything they can to not do that. Everyone will always speculate that it also has something to do with taxing as well, which they will never ever address or comment on it.
Addiction is the issue here. It's not about quiting tobacco. It is quiting nicotine.

Why no one smoke herbal cigarettes? Because it's not addictive, not shiok.

I repeat the issue here is one of addiction, not whatever form it comes in.

So if according to your logic, when the government ban ecstacy etc those hard drugs in pill form, people can now vaporise it and it's legal? No right? Get my point?
