To be clear: so even if an in-person transaction like payment to a hospital is excluded from the "Up to 5% Cashback on Visa Contactless Spend" list of spends, it will still be counted as part of the "at least S$600 worth of retail transaction(s) (“Minimum Spend Requirement”)". Right?

5% is what you get from DBS as an actual cashback. what review sites like this calculate is the total savings you actually get la.

e.g. Pump $100 petrol
Original Cost: $100
SPC&U Discount: $15(15% of $100)
After Disc: $85
DBS Live Fresh Rebate: $4.25 (5% of $85)
After Rebates: $80.75 >>> This is what you actually fork out for $100 of petrol after all the discounts/rebates which is 19.25%
