What's cloud trust?

Those trust funds specialising in investments on cloud infra?
I guess it is more of a role where they help clients to onboard the cloud? I honestly cant tell if its a consulting/audit role and the exit opportunities.

Added a link to the job description on mycareerfuture below. Looking for advice!

Sorry for late response.

Risk assurance = internal audit / compliance.

So basically that role is doing internal audit for cloud systems of clients.

Which big 4 to go for corporate tax? In terms of the culture, pay, working hours and any remote working arrangements?

Deloitte is small so the corporate tax team does non-corp tax stuff like individual tax. Not sure if they do gst also. Good for some experience when you move to commercial.

Kpmg had bad infrastructure (when I was an intern I walked into the filing room to take client files, which imo is a huge control risk). Not sure if they have improved after their upgrade.

EY has been slow in moving to paperless, they tout themselves as the biggest local big4 tax team but unless you stay in until SM/director it doesn't mean anything.

Pwc moved into full remote during covid, not sure if they are changing back.

The culture depends more on the managers you work with, so even if the partners are nice, a lousy manager/client will spoil your day. Same with working hours. Just interview at all of them and see which office you prefer going to for a few years of your life.

Starting pay does not necessarily translate into better pay down the line. They may adjust it to level off so it only impacts the first year.

Pwc Singapore:
When posed with questions regarding pay during a meeting for SAs & AMs with human capital & lead assurance partner(presumably organised as an effort to retain more staff), assurance leader said “If you’re here for the money, you are in the wrong place”

I would like to ask fellow auditors what else would they be working for besides money?

I love working OT and not having a life.
AHAHAHAAHAHHA, if you are here for the money, you are in the wrong place, LMAO.
What he say is correct, those working in big 4 company, only partner level get all the money,
all your ka kia just keep working OT and get crumb.
