Yes, your max losses is just the premium you paid, unless of course if you write the options. Alot of YT videos on it. Example:

Stock A underlying share cost $100, the option for $110 call is trading at $0.1
If you got $1000, you buy at 10 at $100, aiming to sell at $110, you earn $100

But if you were to buy an option, your breakeven price would be $110.10, so if the price by call date is $120, your option will be trading at $10.10, so you put in $0.1, but earn $10.10 by the end if you price strikes. But say if the price dont strike, then you lose everything you put and your call expire worthless.

2) Is it better to convert in tiger app from USD to SGD or deposit back to DBS multi currency acc for conversion?

3) For US pre and after market, can i set limit order? Any additional fees?

1 - Unlimited day trading is allowed.
2 - I convert everything in Tiger acc. More convenient
3 - Yes you can. Bid-Ask spread premarket can be quite wide. No additional fees.

CSO says 2 business days for credit of free commission trading card. I wait for that card to be in first. Only then I deposit $30001 to get the voucher. If not, I use up 30k buy shares then no use for the voucher.

Yes, Tiger can trade US market. There is no capital gain tax for US market, only 30% withholding tax for dividend.
