If you want to keep the pump in the car, get those batteryless and run off 12v type.

Batt powered ones are good to keep at home and pump your bicycle, sex doll etc or pump your car tyres at the carpark.

I have one. I use it to pump my car's tyres on the first weekend of every month. Can pump from cold, can't do it if you pump at petrol kiosk. Also, I can do it in the sheltered MSCP instead of under the sun at the petrol kiosk.

Also, the hose at the petrol kiosk is quite dirty. Use my own air pump is cleaner. And yes, can pump other things like balls, bicycle wheels, etc.

All gas stations have air pumps and u will always need gas before u need air, yes? :s11:

Or am I missing something.
Do not used gas station pump, sometime the internal pressure needle and valve are spoil which can cause sudden air burst on your tubing tear
The portable electric pump with low battery next time also problem

Best is to go buy Lezyne or Birzman floor pump $50~80 with pressure guage, compatible with presta and schrader thread outlet, can be used for both bicycle and vehicle too

But it has a battery. Heat in car may cause it to possibly explode. Happened to others be4. Have to keep it insulated from heat if keep in car imo.

Is for emergency. Can use to pump bikes too.

To use it periodically it's a waste of time and energy to recharge it, like what TS said, petrol kiosk cheaper (free) better faster.
