Any cat or dog can be dangerous if they feel threatened for whatever reason. Keeping pets is 1 thing, but I absolutely despise people who abandon their pets, and these pets end up being a menace to society. I still see stray cats near my place, and I still see aggressive stray dogs along pioneer road...

Some dogs weird weird one. Don't even need to feel threatened can suddenly attack.

I was at a dog shelter, pass by this dog which was happily at a table watching a helper cutting food. As I walked pass he suddenly turned on me want to bite me. Never happened b4. But it seems more to be aiming at my bag. I only suffered minor scratch and the helper managed to pull it away...maybe triggered by some smell.

A dogsitter has revealed the severe injuries she suffered after she was bitten 800 times in a vicious dog attack.

Jacqueline Durand was looking forward to celebrating her 22nd birthday only days when she was mauled by two dogs last December in Coppell, Texas.

She was left in a medically-induced coma and had skin hanging from her face.

Jacqueline has now spoken out about her experience after she was attacked by the German Shepard and Boxer-Pitbull mix that she was dogsitting.

The dogs launched their attack as she opened the door and she was bitten more than 800 times.

She frightening lost 30% of her blood, was resuscitated multiple times and was put in a medically-induced coma for a week, her mom Shirley Durand said CBS News.

Jacqueline told CBS News : "I thought I was going to die."

She was rushed to the trauma ward of the hospital

When asked by CBS why the first responders didn't shoot the dogs to rescue Jacqueline sooner, they said it was because they "were only able to see [her] legs and were not immediately aware of the extent of her injuries."

Bodycam footage shows Jacqueline screaming for help as the dogs kept the officers at bay.

She has now bravely revealed the extent of her injuries.

She told CBS: "I can't be scared of it."

She added: "After every meet and greet I had, I always felt the same with those other dogs and they don't change their attitude from the time that I met them to the time that I go there for the first time."

She is now urging dog owners to "know their animals and be able to communicate with their sitters how they are."

The heartbroken owners said in a statement to CBS that they would "never knowingly put anyone in harm's way, and were shocked by what happened at [their] home."

However, Jacqueline's family lawyer argues a warning sign on the front door suggests otherwise.

The first thing she must do after recovery is to kill the owner.
