Property prices in Tampines going up.

Don Don Donki is soon opening its 11th outlet in Singapore, with the latest store located at Tampines 1.

This is its second outlet in the east, not counting the sweet potato factory concept at Changi Airport that closed down in September 2020.

News of the opening was shared on Facebook page I Love Tampines, but the Japanese Discount Store has yet to make any official announcement on its social media channels.

According to the page, the Tampines 1 space takes over the spot previously occupied by Uniqlo and Browhaus.

A quick check reveals that Browhaus has recently moved to new premises a few units from their original location, corroborating the news of Donki's arrival.

No date for the opening has been specified yet, but a hoarding announces that the outlet is opening "soon".

Yeah! Normally like to go to City Square, there quite empty on Sunday morning. Haven't visited the downtown east one yet.
