Hi guys am going on the cruise this Sunday! Got a couple Qs.

How much are drinks on board without the unlimited package?

Is it worth upgrading to the more expensive wifi?

Any other tips most appreciated as well. Thanks!

My invoice stated
Cabin $258
Port charge $120
I pay total $378.
Which is the same price they advertise. So no more port right. Except the gratuity right?

Port charge is normally billed together with the Cabin fare when you make the booking.

Gratuity of $21/night/pax (Balcony and lower category) or $26/night/pax (Suite) will be billed when sailing onboard.

The drinks onboard are the roughly same prices as the bars & pubs prices in sg.. They also do offer happy hours or beer promos.. The inclusive restaurants do offer coffee, tea & syrup drinks.. Lido got nice ice-cream machine.. Lido also got 24hrs snacks bar which have light finger food & hot beverages..

The standard wifi is sufficient for your whatsapp, FB, app games and emails.
Please take note the cabin can use 3pin charger or USB cable for your phone.. Dont bring a c-type or lighting cable only. Nowadays samsung phones all are c-type to c then you need to bring your 3pin charger unless is a usb to c-type cable.

If all are singaporean passports it is fine. If there is foreign passport please bring your pr ic or wp/ep..

You need to download dream cruise app prior to boarding.. Once on board connect to via the dream cruise app to book your shows, check show times and buy the internet. The app can also be used for cabin bill settlement which is very convenient. Check the dream daily for daily activities and what promos are offered which some required it to be booked on day 1 like spa promos. Also for pool , rope course you will need to make booking too.

Thanks a lot you're a great help! Btw are there places to get plain water on the ship? If don't have then maybe buy one of the drinks package liao. If whole day drink syrup drinks from the restaurants I cannot tahan haha.

This trip was redeemed with miles. But actually I see the price online like quite cheap ah. much more worth than staycation in local hotels.

Complimentary bottle of Mineral Water is provided each day in the cabin. You can ask extra from the housekeeping if you are friendly enough with them or you can get it complimentary if you play in the casino.

The Lido Buffet Restaurant and 24hrs Snack Corner both at Deck 16 Aft have the hot/cold water dispensing tap to get water from. Or you can get from the Coffee dispensing machine. If you play in casino you can ask for hot water with lemon too.

The tap water onboard is labelled 'Drinkable Water' inside the cabin washroom if you don't mind drinking directly or use the kettle to boil it.

You can get normal brew Coffee or Tea from these restaurants too.

The drink packages are worth only if you like to drink lots of speciality coffee, fruit juice, beer, wine or hard liquor.

Yes exactly DC has been very aggressive in the pricing. For 500 you get 3N cruise all inclusive plus grats balcony for 2pax. That is like around half the price of RC 3N based on their latest promo.. An average stay at a 5 star hotel will easily cost you around 300 to 500 for 1 night.. So you can see the deal is not bad for DC..

There is a lobby cafe at deck 6 which you can have drinks too and local food which is payable.. They have pastries ,cakes and local food... I tried their milo dinosaur which is ok lol...

Please take note that onboard they have SDAs and practice safe distancing in all the public areas. The rules on land apply onboard.. But of cos if you are family is fine.. Casino they are more strict on safety.. No alcohol for sale after 10.30pm too.

3N cruise will be just nice if you are 1st time onboard.. 2N is too fast and you wont get to enjoy it at a leisurely pace.

mineral water can be requested from room. No extra charges to your room bill. Just give them some tips, they would be very happy.

Tap water can be boiled and drink as well, i always do that for local cruise. (not for overseas trip)

alternatively before you go back cabin or need mineral water. The easiest way is just approach any casino table and ask for it..

The water onboard from the toilet can be use to boil. They have kettle inside the cabin. Please check the kettle before boiling if is dirty ask them to replace.

The bottle standard mineral water is free and no need any drink package. Usually if you see the housekeeping pushing the trolley ask them for extra 1 or 2.. Everytime when housekeeping do/clean your cabin they will replace new bottle inside depending on how many person... if not casino floor tables can get anytime..

You only need to buy one pax. Don't need to buy for both pax in the room as required in Royal Caribbean.

Thanks for this confirmation!! Okay then prob I’m going to get the drinks package for my partner. But can take the beer, tell them don’t open it and bring to room right! Bring to room and relax and drink haha
