Yes there is the 80% PP promo on going till Mar 2020 i think and also the buy in chips program.

Crowd wise still not much different. Fri dep more gamblers and crowded. Other then fri casino not that crowded. Also depends on what you are playing.

My next cruise is 13Dec.

Yes 80% off is a giveaway.
But I like most people have book their cruises already. I have 2 cruises in this period.
Check and was surprised that Dec, peak period is still available. But the Dec 13 cruise would cost me close to $1000 using RWAS rate and if I buy some drinks also.

Are the table games crowded. Slots there are always the aunties playing their 2 cent games.
How is the food. They have cut back on the seafood?.
Not so many Indian nationals now. Genting depends so much on them. They could make or break Genting.

Nice to see you around, otherwise this thread may be buried.

Dec 13 has the HK Zhu MiMi Concert but not invited. Probably cost more because of this plus school holiday peak.

Slots have always been crowded especially during weekend cruise.

Could be RCCL QOTS is here so another choice for the Indians to choose. Saw one news yesterday about both ships called Phuket Patong Beach few days ago with about combined 8000 passengers.

Foodwise i think GD has improved abit. With the 24hrs snacks you will have things to eat whole day. Always best to check the menu before meal times. Really depends on menu for the seafood.

Fri is really aunties power at the slots and they will sit there from 9pm lol. Tables wise will be crowded at the $100 table. 200 and above not much crowd. Intl room also not crowded. If you playing ETG should be able to find seat.

Maybe you can try the buy in chip program confirm cheaper then buy cash rwas rate as a alternative option.. Now already dec so most already full or cabin quota nearly filled. Peak dates confirmed all fulled. Phuket is really best to go before apr when they change port. So far i like the Penang/phuket 3N most. FYI 31Jan Fri cruise will return at 6pm to MBCC on 2Feb so a longer duration.

Yes RCCL is really giving GD a very difficult time. They also do not charge non-Singaporean the 20% premium like GD.
QOTS has 30% more capacity than their previous ship VOTS. They also have a longer cruising season here this year.

But most important QOTS is sailing at full capacity. GD was sailing at 60% capacity when I was on her in early Nov on their most popular 3N cruise to Phuket.

But Genting HK has got more serious problem in the HK/China market.

Good Show, kia.
Now that you refresh my memory, I did come across this program before.
The $3000 buy-in chips is no problem. The $300 rebate i.e. a 10% rebate is very good.
It is the 18 TP condition that is holding me back. We just don't know how they award TP for NN chips. It could be a lot less than playing with cash chips.

No nn chips/ NN slot credits involve. Eg, if you use this promo to book a balcony cabin, when you go onboard, approach the cage cashier and deposit $300. Just play as per usual with your own money to earn 18tp and you get back your $300 deposit. If you failed to earn 18tp within this cruise, then your $300 will be forfeited.

I don't know if this is how it works.
So if someone pays the cashier $300 and play very little or not at all would that person just lose the $300.

I doubt so even members also cant get for normal cabins for cash rate. Unless the member want to let go for you which is unlikely. 27Dec has been fulled for awhile.

Try suites if really must go ?

Yap, this is what I was told.
$300 for a balcony is not a bad deal.

Don't think is pay only deposit. Chart showed Buy-in to get Entertainment Credits (like those tournament prizes partially in EC) including of 10% deposit. Should be pay up in full at cage in exchange of EC in either Chips for Table games or Credits into card for Slots play.

27Dec already full can try to call up everyday to check if any cancellation to book but guess slim chance since peak period.

O.K. I will try and make this booking then.
I want to go on this weekend cruise.
Why pay $1000 when I can pay only $300.
I will be there every weekend like that.

My agent told me don't need to buyin $3k leh. All I need is to give the cage cashier $300 onboard. Well, lets hear from John when he goes onboard this weekend.
Since Nov, I am not entitled for free cabin on weekday cruise, only free to travel on Fri cruise. My 22/1 cruise was initially booked as a sharer to travel, but I took up the $300 promo to have my own cabin. Have to wait until end of Jan to know how it works coz I cruise till 27 Jan. =:p

The Woodward Dream Cruise seems to be more or a fun Run/Walk event while this thread is all about Dream Cruises Genting Dream cruise ship. Are you in the right place? :s11:
