I am booked on an upcoming cruise.

When i reach MBCC, do i straightaway head to the level 3 carpark or do i need to go level 2 to be processed first?

And are they strict on swab test timing e.g. if i come half an hour early, can it be done earlier?

The 1st thing you arrive is drop your luggage at lvl 2 left hand entrance.

If you want to hand carry and nothing to drop then you can proceed to lvl 3 carpark for health declaration & swab test.. My suggestion is drop luggage even if is a cabin size.. If small haversack then no need loh...

After you get the covid test negative slip then you can go into the terminal for check in and get your cabin card and mice pod.

So far swab test timing is not so strict if you want to come earlier abit like 30mins...coming later then your swab test timing should not be an issue at all.. Just not too late by around 5pm to 5.30pm latest..

Will they spray the sanitizer all over your cabin luggage if you check-in / hand carry? i have my ipad and laptops inside, not sure if i should put them in the luggage.

Prior to the covid test they will spray onto your haversack or hand carry luggage bag after the health declaration. Is spray outside not inside yr bag so i dont think will have any impact on your ipad..

If check in luggage i think they got spray i guess but is outside.. I dont think will seep into your ipad or laptop lol..

went for 3 cruises so far..
13nov, 20nov and 22nov

for weekend cruise there are around 1200-1300 passengers. for sunday departing 3n cruise, there is a noticeable difference of around 500-600 passengers only

covid swabbing was quite smooth pre and post embarkation. palace guests do not need to queue.

you need to book early if you want to dine at umi uma, as it tends to be very popular. however, i find the food there poor, teppanyaki was just gimmicks, and korean bbq was subpar. best restaurants were mark best seafood/steakhouse and silk road chinese restaurant. you can give the hotpot a miss. after awhile, the palace menu at specialty restaurants gets a bit repetitive.. so we dined at the blue lagoon or L17 palace restaurant. service was good at all restaurants.

no alcohol consumption in public places after 10:30 is a downer, you can choose to buy a bottle of alcohol and for smokers can get a cigar at L16 genting club and enjoy at your own balcony. no duty free alcohol on sale btw.

casino on the weekend trips will be crowded, especially right after it opens at 9:30pm. on weekdays, we get the whole baccarat table to ourselves throughout the whole trip. genting club has some promo where you can redeem various gifts (must be done before disembarkation) depending on how much NN chips you roll.

i'm going for 4dec and 6dec departure again, and expect it to be more crowded due to school holidays and all the pent up vacation demand.

It will be fantastic if you don't need to go through swab test during 6th Dec disembarkation and 6th Dec boarding.

I received a whatsapp from RWAS from a VP from Premium Business Development with his RWAS name card, Any idea if he is just purely sending out invitation to all gold card member or a host?
He told me i am entitled to complimentary balcony cabin, i told him i have already made a reservation for Dec.

Thanks for replying. Had booked 27 dec. As my sons will be staying in the cabin most of the time playing games, so thinking whether to let them wear mask or not.

I did a recruise on 22nov, it is mandatory for all guests (even those who are continuing cruise) to disembark so that they can thoroughly disinfect all staterooms and common areas. That would also mean when you disembark, you will have to do a covid test but you will be redirected to a results waiting area for recruisers. You will then take that result slip for your reboarding. Meaning if you do 2 back to back cruises, you will take 3 covid tests in total.

The swab test really has no effect on you that you can do back to back cruise? just wondering... i haven’t went on any trips yet.
