Awesome news! Thank you for clarifying!

Just a couple more questions if there's anyone who might be able to shed some light on:

*Is the currency used in the casino SGD?

*Is it a must to sign up for membership to play slots/table games?

*Any idea around how many slot machines there are onboard World Dream?

*Possible to withdraw cash in the casino premises using debit/credit card?

Thanks all! And paisey if I'm asking absurd questions. Virgin cruise-goer here :)

Currency used onboard is SGD.

Membership is optional but is free to join to earn Points for Comps like free cruise etc.

There are easily around 200-400 slots machines onboard scattered on 3 decks (6 to 8) and deck 16 (for VIPs). But with safe distancing measures some could be blocked.

Cash Withdrawal is available at the Casino Cage but a 2% Admin charge apply on top of the Credit Card Cash Advanced Fees 8% vary between Issuing Banks.

Me again, the solo virgin cruise-goer! Thanks to lilycyll for providing me with much clarity regarding my casino enquiries! Tonnes more that I need to ask though, so please bear with me peeps!

*Going tomorrow, on the 13th, does that mean capacity will only be at 25%? Coz the P2HA rules will only ease 14th onwards.

*My swab appt is at 4pm. And will definitely board only after lunchtime on the ship ends. Does that mean I will not get to eat anything (inclusive/for free) once I board?

*Other than bfast/lunch/dinner, if I'm feeling peckish and still wanna eat other stuff in between meal times or whenever I want, can I do so? Again, I'm talking about the free/inclusive food & drinks that come with the cruise ticket.

*How many power points are there in the balcony stateroom?

*If I do not sign up for any beverage package, would I still have access to water, coffee/tea, simple drinks/juices etc?

That's all for now! Might have more questions later. Hurhur. Thanks in advance, all!

Enjoy the staycation and limit your gambling stake because the slot machine payout is very very low.

* You will probably board the cruise between 5pm and 5.30pm if swab test is 4pm. Complimentary dinner (bento packaging) starts at 5.30pm.

* Collect complimentary snacks at The Lido (Lower) Deck 7 during non meal timings or pay for food at Deck 6 Lobby Cafe or Deck 7 Blue Lagoon.

* More than enough power points and USB points inside the rooms. You are not allowed to bring extension cord.

* You can have complimentary bottle drinking water, warm/hot water, hot lime juice and coffee/tea in the casino even without membership.

SGD, u can directly insert 50/100 notes into the slot machine, or give them to the dealer directly for chips.

decks 6-8, 18 (Palace) have slot machines. there’re less usable ones due to safe distancing but never had issues finding one in the last 7 days onboard.

played roulette without membership before. slot machines need membership card and pin.

never withdrew money onboard before to limit my casino spending. i think u can but not sure if there are extra charges.

Don't use your companion card to play slot machines with Grand Jackpot because casino won't pay you if you strike the Grand or Big Jackpot.

Regardless what genting card you holding..rwm rws etc.. When you onboard you will need to apply for rwas card to use and clock points onboard. what rwas will do is offer you same tier as what you are holding. also if you are genting member if a member bring u on a comp cruise you will not need to pay the non-member surcharge.

Slot machines is random.. hard to say..

Tables games all they have is just they want to open that particular game.. Casino war i think they remove did not see it recently. Nov n Dec cruise i did see casino war 1 table lol.. 3 kings also hard to say may have or may not even if have also most give u 1 table. During such restrictive times the casino will offer what is popular and not so many varieties.

Thanks for the reply. Noted on the RWAS card.

I tried Baccarat at RCB MOTS, VOTS and QOTS. All very very random and hardly any streak one. Very different from Genting itself :D. Or maybe im just unlucky. I dont really like to play BJ at cruise unless it is my own friend who is playing at the same table, else hor, strangers will just anyhow pass or anyhow take cards where they shouldnt de..
