All must go CDC, BBDC or SSDC book classes.

Like ActiveSG app, need to chiong for bookings or never be able to find a slot.

SINGAPORE: Driving schools in Singapore are taking action against a growing army of internet bots that students pay for to reserve and book practical lesson slots, amid a post-pandemic surge in sign-ups.

In July, the Singapore Safety Driving Centre in Woodlands put up a notice on its website warning people against using these services on messaging app Telegram and other platforms like Carousell.

ComfortDelGro Driving Centre, which sees about 2,000 sign-ups every month, said it will suspend users for three months if they are caught using bots to get lesson slots.

New students at these two schools now must wait about two to three months to take practical lessons.

The other remaining licensed school, Bukit Batok Driving Centre, currently has the longest wait time, with all lesson slots taken for the next six months.

According to a sign at its counter seen by CNA last week, the next available slot is in February or March. It stated that the information was accurate as of Aug 2, with new slots released every last Thursday of the month.

just go down to any of the driving center and see the amount of foreign workers signing up and you will know why no practical slots already

I even saw one tiktok at SSDC i think. the queue all the way until almost outside of compound and its all foreign workers one

they pass driving also no use, I got one asked me at petrol station the one I was pumping is petrol or diesel

is not enough sch and teacher.

The slot always full. and u r only allow to book max 5 or 8 per mth.
sch cant meet with demand.. too many ppl who just grad go learn driving also

Many ppl dunno this.. since late 1980s gahment has already stopped issuing new private instructor licenses. They want to streamline everyone to driving centres instead... The current ones are the ones who for their private licenses before the blanket ban. After one by one they retire we won't be able to find any private instructor already

If u fail so many times. I think u also at risk. I wish u win toto tomorrw and u will have no need to learn to drive. U will be driven. Tomorrow toto is 4.5mil

Gahmem always tell sinkies must upskill, adopt simi AI, robotics and automation.
Bot is just a skilled person applying automation on a task.
