Wow. A few English clubs announcing they joining Super league and abandoning Champion League.

Football war is here. Football is also self destroying with VAR, oil money and greed.

Even Tottenham is one of the 5 english teams that signed up. And im pissed.

So much widespread condemnation
Looks like it ended before it starts
If they want it, have to fight in court

Imagine EPL would be siding with UEFA. The six english clubs United Chelsea Arsenal Liverpool Tottenham and the sixth and last to signed up City, would definately be looking at points deductions or even explusion if the super league plans goes ahead.

It's gonna turn really messy real soon

Won't happen without lawsuit cos players will be banned from internationals.

Maybe too unforeseen but Messi and Ronaldo will also sue if they can't play for their countries due to what their clubs do

No choice really.
High stakes poker

The truth is no one wants to watch Premier League with no United. Or La Liga with no Barcelona or Madrids

So if these clubs say we won't participate in UCL, FAs will have to eject them.

Then the lawsuits will happen
But won't actually happen

Same as Barcelona exiting La Liga if Catalonia leaves Spain.
There was talk Barcelona will play in France haha

UEFA are preparing a lawsuit worth €60 billion against the participating clubs of the Super League: Real Madrid, Barcelona, Atlético Madrid, Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Tottenham, Chelsea, Juve, Inter and Milan. [Gazzetta dello Sport]

Boris Johnson

"Plans for a European Super League would be very damaging for football and we support football authorities in taking action. They would strike at the heart of the domestic game, and will concern fans across the country. "

Apparently City are in. Last and sixth that signed up.

Only German clubs (partly owned by fans) and French clubs stayed out.

Imagining my current Spurs playing against Barcelona and Real week in week out... gosh i feel like San Marino 🤣
Actually if FAs boots all out, the Super League can start proper.

Not only at home, but El Classico will be played in US and China and we can see United trashing Liverpool in North Korea.

If that happens all the leagues will be championship quality level.

So won't happen

BBC

Uefa, the Premier League and UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson have condemned 12 major European clubs, including the 'big six' from England, signing up to a breakaway European Super League.

Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham are part of the group.

La Liga's Atletico Madrid, Barcelona and Real Madrid and Serie A's AC Milan, Inter Milan and Juventus are involved.

Uefa said it will use "all measures" possible to stop the "cynical project".
None of the clubs involved have commented yet but it is thought a statement is likely to be released later on Sunday.

Johnson said the plans would be "very damaging for football" and that the UK government supports football authorities "in taking action".

He added: "The clubs involved must answer to their fans and the wider footballing community before taking any further steps."
