Diaz deserves a higher wage, but if he can be sold for over €80m, considering the current options available, it would be good business for LFC.
a club's playing system also plays a big role, just look at wijnaldum and mané.
that said, it seems like he (and his dad) really wanted barcelona. too bad they can't afford him.

got a strong feeling he will go Saudi cos all of the govt owned clubs have an open foreigner spot

and it makes sense cos he's not that young anymore and 2-3 years there he will be set for life, yet still at a good age to come back to Europe and still too young to return home to play in his domestic league
