| NEW: Sean Dyche is emerging as the front-runner to take over at Nottingham Forest should owner Evangelos Marinakis decide to cut his losses on Ange Postecoglou.

Postecoglou’s future has been the burning issue at Forest during the international break, with all parties aware that there could be a parting of ways.

Forest could face a relegation battle this season as they are currently 17th in the Premier League table, just one place above the drop zone.

Frank Lampard has taken Coventry City from 17th in the Championship to 1st. They are unbeaten and playing fearless football.

Lampard might be on his way back to the Premier League as coach.

UEFA and the Super League are in negotiations to merge and create a new competition:

- It will retain the name Champions League and include 36 clubs.

- The difference is that these 36 clubs will now be divided into 2 categories: the top 18 in the UEFA ranking and the bottom 18.

- The top 18 clubs will only face other clubs from the top 18 in the group stage.

- The bottom 18 clubs will only face other clubs from the bottom 18 in the group stage.

- Broadcasting rights will not be sold to TV channels, and the competition will be streamed directly through a new Netflix-like platform, for free or at a very low cost.

- It will start in 2027.

Sean dyche lives in Nottingham and was a former player, his 2 assistants are also ex Forest players Ian woan and Steve stone. All 3 Forest blood.

won’t do any bad if ange fails and he comes in and stables the ship while we wait for Silva or glasner or iraola to fail and come in. Would prefer Klopp but his style is more attacking.

the rot in forest already started in April 2025 as forest failed to maintain their early form get into champions league.Nuno west ham lost to a poor west ham side 3 nil at home and then run to west ham who will be relegated this season. Nuno himself like Mourinho have many sacked packages ,collecting free money.quarreling with forest owner is so easy to get sack everyone know. Edu bought about 10 players for Nuno but he is not happy as he mentioned in an interview the pre season training has not gone well. Sacking Ange is easy but I believe the team will be worst off playing 2 games per week.

Doesn't sound right... Top 18, okay. "bottom 18" sounds like relegated clubs or those at the lowest-ranked leagues in the respective football pyramids.

Not considering Erik ten Hag? Finished 3rd in the league once & won 2 trophies in the two full seasons he had in the Premier League.

Admittedly, not as good a manager as the one in London who did not win any trophies during the same period but managed to retain the second-placed title. 🤭

wonder how many slots the top and bottom halves get for the knockout stage... wouldn't make sense for the best 18 teams to have just 8 make it through despite slogging harder

🗣️ Roy Keane: “I’d like to see Diego Simeone manage United. He would create a good havoc. We saw them [Atletico] against Liverpool few weeks ago (3-2), the team aren’t as great as a few years ago but they still had that fighting spirit. He got sent off that night. I’d like a big personality like that.”

Liverpool, Bayern, and several top clubs from Spain, including Real Madrid & Barcelona, are reportedly interested in signing Marc Guéhi this summer, according to Fabrizio Romano.

A “crazy battle” is expected, with five or six clubs in the race for his signature, per the report.

Where should Guéhi go?

Pool should fight to get him , he's better than pingpong

FIFA is considering bringing future World Cup's to either March or October.

Infantino: "If we want to play games under the right climate circumstances then we have to pick March or October. We are in talks about it."

Bad planning of schedules as usual...
