9" blade is pretty long to me.. I'm just a folder guy, not really into fixed blades.. Maybe some gurus here can answer your query..

Box, birth cert dated 20 Dec 2011, CRK mircofibre cloth... but no pivot tool.. =:p

Aiyooohhhhhhh......... To be honest, I baulked at buying the old style Zaan before due to it requiring the special pivot tool. If you had it, we would have a deal.

IMO, the old pivot is what made the umnumzaan an umnumzaan (read: badass).. The new pivot just looks so.. docile :)

Wah! 100 posts! faintz

Thanks for the offer but my photography really sucks. Just want to post some happy snaps of my knives, not the really pretty pictures like some of the other members here can do.

sheares is chop carrot?

was thinking of importing, but definitely have to use CGW. and the fix blade is pretty long.

what is CGW?

if you buy it, be prepared to go down to A&E for that blade. I can almost guarantee it. That's not to say you can't go home with it after that.

if you want to sit at home and not do the legwork/hassle, you would have to pay someone to go through that trouble for you.

$$=time/stress/risk are all opportunity costs =:p

sheath for spyderco pacific salt

I'm getting custom kydex made for my Spyderco Pacific Salt. If you are interested in getting a custom kydex made for your Spyderco Pacific Salt (this is the large folder, like an Endura), please let me know within the next day or two and I can help you get one made (since the sheathmaker has my Pacific Salt now).

- You need to decide if you want the hole end to be inserted into the kydex or the clip end (to allow for a spydie drop).

- If you want to get a tek-lok to go with the sheath, that could be arranged with the sheathmaker.

Since my use of the folder is for paddling (affixed on my PFD), I have opted to have the folder sheath in an open configuration.

PM me if you are interested - only a small window of opportunity for this.

The famous Fairbairn-Sykes Commando Knife
Any idea if this knife is allowed into Singapore?
The thing is that it is double edged.
it has great collector interest.
