Nice knife! I've always seen it but always thought it was small.. I like the size and it's simplicity judging from ur pics. looks like a great knife for under 20 shipped! Might have to get me one! Love the forged finish!

Its not a small knife... mine has a 3.1" blade. Yes, there are variances on blade length :s13:

For EDC, I'd rather carry a smaller knife. Something 2" or so...

Because of its simplicity and small number of parts, there are actually quite a lot of people who "pimp" their peasants.... grind their blades down, re-handle, etc etc.

Great hoot laurenspang!

Anynone knows where I can buy Coldsteel products locally? Want to get a sword, but I don't think it would be possible to ship it over.

coldsteel can try to ask caesars to bring in for you but subject to ica approval bah.. if it is not already in their catalogue, the cost of bringing it in will be very very ex..

i used to have a spyderco for rope work, bought from sngarms beach road, their 2nd level got a lot of knives but only selected brands nia..

My Landi has arrived. Review here: http://bit.ly/iDphG4

Nice!
Btw in my experience most kydex sheath 'Scratches' the blades.
Actually its more of the dust and grit inside the sheath that's scratching the blade, not the kydex itself. If you really mind the scratches, i'd recommend a leather sheath instead. But since you use the knife hard, then don't let the scratches bother you! They're you're knife's personality and character.

Guys some of you might know that i lost my spyderco dragonfly quite awhile back.
Was quite sad cause i edc-ed it for more than 3 years alr. And it's the old version with the ATS-55 steel instead of the new vg-10.

I FOUND IT!!!!!!!!!!
It was found in my school's rock climbing gym, miracle that it was lying there for 6 months and still in good condition. Shall be EDC-ing it again!
Good condition means not rusted la. The scratches were there long ago.

Just ordered the spyderco persistence, my first folder excluding the one from emart. The next of course would be a sharpener. I have my sights on the spyderco sharpmaker, which will set me back $70 usd, you guys have any lobang or maybe there's a cheaper alternative locally, do share.

Take your time with the sharpener. My 2 month old Persistence came razor sharp out of the box, and has yet to need a sharpen.

Enjoy!

Slowly la...A system is easier to learn on. But free-hand still the best. Can learn on a spyderco or lansky system. It's not hard to get a serviceable edge from those systems..
