I intend to look for LV, Gucci etc. Are the prices same as SG unless we claim tax rebate?

cheaper by abit. u want buy LV, gucci, prada.. should go American buy.. not only is it a lot cheaper but the bad economy big sale til now hadnt ended yet. my friend just went crazy over there with 50% off... brought one big bag of stuffs.. come back sg sell...

They do.. but not a lot... you gotta search for it... CDG I saw in IT, Joyce and Pompei... Fred Perry... only the Raf ones and by CDG ones.. in IT... actually for more CDG and FP... ...you will find more in 星港中心's IT in Tsim Sa Tsui ... Note: in 星港中心, there are 3 levels of IT stores, 1 with high end, 1 mid range and 1 discount store....

Hi guys great thread. Okay i only have about 1.5 days in HK so i really need some precise advice. Where can i go to do all my shopping in this short period of time. Preferably all the places within a small area.

I am looking for winter clothings and also shoes. Hope to get some timberland stuff there. Please advice soon leaving this saturday.

Next, maybe some people can tell me any where got die die must try food in hongkong.THANK YOU so much for everything.

By the way this is the first time I go there, so would you please post the full address of that space warehouse and the horizon plaza please, as I saw 2 space warehouse and dont know which 1 is the best and easy to go to the horizon plaza as you said.

Ok... below is from my earlier post....

Space warehouse, the Prada warehouse( (海怡半岛(Chinese) Hoi yi pun dou (canto) )go to another building(Horizons Plaza, Ap Lei Chau), inside the building... you will find IT warehouse (D&G and See by Chloe and etc), Joyce's warehouse (Marc Jacobs, John Galliano and many others). And many many more warehouses inside this building....

But the IT warehouse in Horizon Plaza wasn't as good as the one in 星港中心 in Tsim Sa Tsui ... Note: in 星港中心, there are 3 levels of IT stores, 1 with high end, 1 mid range and 1 discount store....

My personal fave in Horizon Plaza is Pompei (level 22)... I manage to get many things there...this is the place where I got all my Bikkembergs from Pompei....My friend got a belt and some others... you are able to find Prada, Bikkemberg, Dsquared, Comme des garcons, Boss, Armani, MCQ, Y-3 and more...

Anyway... this building Horizon Plaza.. you can get almost all the major labels including Ferragamo, Gucci, Lanvin, Jil Sander and many others...

Pls note that there is a shutter service every 10 min from near Space warehouse to Horizon Plaza.... Taxi ride from 中環 Central MTR to Space is abt 80+HK

The prices are good... wallets, small bags are like SING218 (1200HK).... bigger bag can start from SING770, down from SING1220... Tops, SING180 onwards down from some SING400+ or SING600+.... overall pretty worth it....

only 1 Space Warehouse, 2/F, South Horizons Plaze (East Wing), 海怡广场西翼, Hong Kong Island. Telephone : 2814 9576
Many locals do not know abt the place... just show the cab driver the address... if lost... call the boutique... btw.. they are close on Sunday...

From Space warehouse, take a 10mins to 15 min to Horizon Plaza 海怡工貿中心... entire building is full of goodies... Enjoy! Let me know your findings...

the outlets stores over at citigate, more high end brands are burberry RL bally all these.

got one RL polo at a really cheap price of sgd 74 only.

their burberry polo also quite cheap hkd 610 & etc.

so quite good buys at the citigate.

Been to HK last week...quite a few changes.

- Citigate is good....worth going
- Horizon Plaza - lots of very branded goods. Personally not what i was looking for. Many things cost ard $5kHKD but discounted to $1k or more....if you are looking for branded stuff....may be worth visiting. Has got toys and furniture too.
- The outlets at Yip fatt have shifted. Was there and a kind neighbour shop told me they are the only shop left, and directed me to the new location. Mostly addidas, nike and puma outlets at the new place. Shifted across the road near Camel paint building...60 something Hoi Yuen Rd.
- found a good place for ladies clothing. My sister loved it. Not exactly outlets or branded....but street/casual wear, handbags, shoes. It's a wholesale place for ladies clothes. Must go for the ladies. It's just above Lai Chi Kok MTR, exit C, Hong Kong Industrial Building. 3 Blocks of ladies fashion. Cheap and good. My sis says she saw 2 singaporeans buying leather handbags for stock back to sg. Sad to say i've yet to find wholesale street wear for guys...cheap, hip and good. But as a consolation, there's a addidas factory outlet on the 7th floor, blk B.
