exactly.. those cadbury chocolates.. the first ingredient is sugar, which means by weight that chocolate contains the most sugar, since it is the first on the list.

the most common lowest sugar to eat will be Lindt's 99% dark chocolate.

i donno where to buy 100% chocolates.

i have seen before hershey selling 100% cocoa baking bar at the baking section. its not very common, probably only fairprice finest or cold storage has it.
not sure if its ok to just eat like that? but i will just purely incorporate it into my muffins :)

those 85% chocolates are sweetened with sugar too.

you're just lying to yourself because the chocolate bitterness tone down the sweetness of the sugar - but there's the 15% sugar that goes into your body.

Calculate into grams is negligible leh.

if eating on a daily basis, one might wanna calculate the serving of 85% choco and see if sugar is alot.

i dont know how much negligible is, but i believe intake of sugar triggers insulin secretion.

if eating occasionally, i wouldnt really mind too. but i tend to finish the whole bar if i get greedy, so 99% is safest for me and is what i enjoy anyway.

:o

also ordered some chilli and berries choco to cheat :o

so excited about my lunchbox today.
last night i tried to make dried curry. didnt add milk/coconut milk, bcos im not sure if curry can be left overnight, so i used chilli powder with five spices powder and pink salt, to marinate my pork slice.
fry up the ginger, onions and garlic in the wok, throw the meat in, fry it up, pour in 1 cup of water, cover and simmer, add in hard boil eggs later and simmer again till its pretty dry.

like that is user problem liao. :s13:

i only have a tiny bit of a square of 100% cocoa every night. :s13:

haha ya la my problem :s13:

recently I bought a block of lindt's 99% chocolate.. whenever i'm hungry or crave for sugar i will just have a small square of it. Then after a while my craving is gone.

can cocoa eliminate sugar craving and hunger? anybody came across any research?

was googling on humane farming.. i posted something related some time back.. i found some info. its true that female cows are forced to impregnate and calfs born are removed after a day old from the mother.

anw, it still boils down that grass fed dairy products are better in terms of taste, nutrients or humanity.

for milk i think its pura, organic valley etc.

anchor butter;
Free Range
•Means cows are feed on grass only, 365 days of the year. Therefore no grain, artificial feed or meat & bone meal is feed to cows on New Zealand’s farms.
•Means naturally raised and humane living conditions for cows 24/7.

No Hormones

The New Zealand government prohibits the use of animal growth hormones in dairy, sheep and beef farming. There is mounting evidence that growth hormones can adversely affect the heath of cattle and humans.
