Korean hanwoo grilled beef dinner

Grilled Korean beef dinner in Korea.
Flower ribs(?) with more marbling and Sirloin
150g each.
Korean beef is equivalent to Japanese wagyu. Both usually eaten without sauce for the beef taste.
About $50 for 150g

The side dishes were quite good. Had potato salad, cabbage salad w apple sauce, dried fish, some brown roots, zucchini and also a bowl of duenjang soy paste soup and 2 rice.
Also have cabbage and perilla leaves for wrap.
Had multiple refills of the side dishes!
Total Cost was about sgd91

Got steamed red crab with 3 crab fried rice for around total $28
2 red crabs $22
3 fried rice in crab shell $2.20 each

Crab was ok, not that fatty but meat was sweet.

The crab fried rice was really good.
They fry with crab parts and put back into the shell.
Much tastier n easier to eat than the crab.

Bought from a popular crab shop inside seafood market in Sokcho.

This Hangane Bulgolgi restaurant in the Insadong area serves really good bulgolgi with lots of side dishes.
It is at the north end of Insadong n down a flight of stairs.

Had beef bulgolgi and the dried pollack soup was excellent!
Had so many ingredients that it can be like a half meal.

$33 for 2 people
They also have a smaller version $12 for 1 person.

At a popular shop in Seoul, near SNU.
Name is Sumibi

Actually has 2 pieces of hamburg steak but each piece is quite small.

Hamburg steak itself is quite good as it was charcoal grilled.

About $15.5

Tonight was marinated beef galbi at a fancy restaurant inside Hyundai dept store called Gyeongbokgung. Same name as the palace.

Lots of veggie banchan.
Had a big plate of salad.
Lots of different steamed, pickled veggies, kimchi radish soup and also duenjang bean paste soup.
Side dishes were high quality.

The beef was very good n a server charcoal bbq those for us.

Cost for 2 was about $100
A bit too pricey though.

Japanese style dinner at a popular place called Ho Ho at Express Bus Terminal

This was Pork Steak and it was amazing!
Very tender inside with a crispy crust, very similar to beef steak.
It really tasted like tender beef steak.

A bit pricey at $20.

The most popular dish at the restaurant though seems to be some beef sukiyaki dish which was quite good as well.
