He got too used to the lavish lifestyle but his 45-year-old sugar mummy made it clear that she only likes university students.

Fresh Grad Dumped By Sugar Mummy Says He Doesn't Want To Live Without Her Monthly 5-Figure Allowance

It's not uncommon for university fresh graduates to fret over their livelihoods as they enter the workforce. But for this particular guy in Malaysia, his worries stem from an entirely different issue.

Recently, a man in his 20s took to Taiwanese social media Dcard to share that he's been dumped by a woman, who supported him financially when he was in university.

According to the man, his sugar mummy, who's 45, would give him a monthly five-figure allowance

It's why he's now struggling to adapt to his new life as he earns $3,500 ringgit (S$$1,061) at his job.

He's from a middle-income family and went to Kuala Lumpur to study when he was 19.

At that time, he realised his peers were all carrying designer bags and were using iPhones and MacBooks, which made him feel inferior and out of place.

When he was 20, he found himself a sugar mummy.

In the two years they were together, the man would spend her money and a fondness for buying luxury items.

Their relationship was not without terms and conditions.

He was not allowed to reveal the identity of his sugar mummy, had to stay at her place over the weekends, and wasn't allowed to have other girlfriends.

The man said he saw the breakup coming the moment he finished his studies.

His sugar mummy had made it clear that she only fancies university students and would not be interested in him once he starts working.

She also said the split was for his own good, as she didn't want his academic achievements go to waste.

The man, however, says he's completely lost now as he spent the last two years convincing people around him that he comes from a rich family.

"She doesn't want me anymore, and I'm left with nothing. I'll go back to being the poor student that everyone looks down on," he whined.

He then chastised his sugar mummy for "abandoning" him after introducing him to the world of luxury.

"I didn't even care that she's 45 so why does she mind that I'm not a university student? Why? I really don't want to live anymore," he said.

A netizen, however, came up with a solution for the man.

"It's simple. You can continue being in university by doing your Masters and PhD. Or you can apply for Medical School which takes a longer time to complete, and keep your identity as a uni student for a longer time," they joked.
