yea is a mid range phone i guess many type of these out there nowadays.. like Nothing phone which is quite fancy bnow
nothing phone is fancy for sure. but pricing wise is still :s22:

Spending 739 for Nothing phone 4A Pro, I will get A57 instead though.

But in actual fact, if considering pricing in the 600-700 range, my choice will be OP15R > Poco X8 Pro Max > A57 > Nothing Phone 4A Pro

Specs still plays a part in the longevity of the device especially in the mid range segment. I rate OP15R over X8 Pro Max is just because of the 2 year warranty, better build quality, cleaner software and better software support. Of course, X8 Pro Max cost around 480 - 500 compared to 6xx on OP15R. If one got the knowledge to debloat and remove ads from Poco X8 Pro Max, by all means go X8 Pro Max instead.

Okay, time for another review on the latest Samsung A57

Huge shoutout to @Galaxy Commander for making this possible!

Let me begin with the unboxing of the device:

Some observations of the device:
1. It is slimmer and lighter compared to last year Samsung A56.
2. Bezels are thinner than the Samsung A56. At least I feel that it is accepted to me compared to A56, and it also seems like the bezels are thinner than the Google Pixel 10A? :s13: Well done Samsung!
3. Power and Volume buttons are not wobbly. Build quality is definitely up there.
4. Same glossy glass finish at the back. How I wish that it is a matte glass instead. Hopefully, this dream will come true some day. Glossy glass back is a fingerprint and micro scratches magnet.
No memory card support right

Samsung A series models gradually dropping SD card support.

IIRC Galaxy A35 and A55 still have SD card slot, but A36 and A56 dropped the card slot, while A26 still has card slot. Now A27 don't know have card slot or not.

I happened to be at JEM yesterday and drop by samsung to check out the A37 and A57. On display there's only the navy colour A57 (i assumed this is the hero colour) and purple or pink A37. I think one should go for A57, A37 looks like kiddy with the thick bezel. For A57 navy the frame is of the same colour as the back glass, and the navy is too dark for my liking. Unless the preorder price is attractive, I would say s25 fe looks much more compelling - and the frame is metallic silver which provides a separation to the back glass colour.

At this price point, if die die need a Samsung phone, go with s25fe is a better choice.

Else, Poco X8 Pro Max, OnePlus 15 will be better options
