Think a simple change of the number of representatives should be enough if want to maintain certain representatives to population ratio. The redrawing of boundaries seems like 画蛇添足, 多此一举, 此地无银三百两. Couldn't be more obvious.

Think from practical point of view, it never should be. Especially in frequent extensive sense. Waste resources. Unless got certain agenda.

I hv this thinking, eg say opp has 90% of voters in on district. The redrawn, that district slice into 3 parts...the cohesion n supporters will be separated with strong ruling supporters.

Think people just need to ask themselves lor. If average support between two camps is about 60-40. But the average result is often about 90-10. Is that normal or what. Many, if not most nowadays got study one. Basic math and probability. They be their own judge.

Actually, all the political parties that participated in the GE will know that as a fact.

Upon conclusion of the GE, the political parties will know the voting result of each polling district like which district voted for who.

When they say your vote is secret, it only means the individual's vote is secret.

With this info, the political parties can strategise based on which polling districts are safe spots for them, which polling districts are shaky, and which polling districts are no hope.
